Faculty - I'm a new course builder what can I expect with this process?

If you have not already, you will be contacted by a member of AU Online's instructional design team. There will be a kickoff meeting where the course development project's scope and sequence, processes, technologies, and other similar information will be discussed.

You will be the "course developer" and work alongside an AUO instructional designer for this project. You are asked to complete AUO's Faculty Orientation; this will give you practice as a student in using many tools and applications that may be considered for your own course.

Weekly meetings for approximately one hour will be scheduled to facilitate course decision making and instructional design considerations. Target dates for development benchmarks for completion of this project will be provided.
